It’s been a long while since I’ve updated Design Thrift, it had to take a backseat while I focused on my regular job as well as my jewelry line and I figured that when I was finally ready to come back, I’d come back with a new look. So as you have probably noticed the blog got a huge makeover and is now more of a magazine layout. There are still some tweaks here and there that need to be done to get it exactly perfect, but I figured it was finally time to start updating regularly because honestly I’ve missed this space a lot and i’m excited to be able to get back into it again. As you can see there is always a link to my shop in the sidebar and in the menu at the top of the page so don’t forget to go check out all the new jewelry I’ve been working on! The support from my readers has meant so much to me over the years and it’s kept me going so I just want to say thank you.
So anyway, back to the post at hand…it’s Friday so I wanted to start with an oldie but a goodie ETSY Friday Faves. These are just a few of the items on my ETSY wishlist that I’ve been admiring lately. I’ve definitely embraced the mystical, bohemian, minimalism trend that’s been going on these last few seasons. I feel like this is stuff that I’ve always been naturally drawn to since I was a teen but the fact that it’s been trending lately only heightened my desire to embrace it more in my home decor, if that makes any sense. I feel like i’m still learning about my home decor style even now that I’m into my 30’s. It’s definitely evolved a long way from my early twenties until now and I think i’m finally settling into a definite pattern with what types of spaces I like and strive to have.
All of these items are handmade and from ETSY shops that I feel are worth a good long look because they each have a wonderful selection of items in addition to the ones posted.
